Cherry MX Sampler for a switch replacement?

Heisenbleurgh

I got a K60 with a bad switch, it repeats itself constantly whenever the switch is even slightly bumped. I've messaged Corsair but will most likely be asked to send it back and that back and forth shipping would easily come up to $40+ where I'm located so I'm thinking replacing the switch myself will probably be the best solution.

Individual switches are pretty expensive so I was thinking I might as well get a sampler kit and take the red switch off from it, but I'm not entirely sure if that's possible by the way they're mounted.

Anyone here owns a Max Keyboard sampler kit (or equivalent) that can let me know if the switches could be desoldered/replaced? Or should I just get switches by themselves?

Thanks.

I wouldnt take the risk of it not working off of the sampler, so I would just buy a replacement switch.
