I just build my new PC with a 2070 Super GPU.   I looked up the latest drives and installed the Studio drivers (minus the GeForce Experience).  However, I see a lot of "Game Ready Drivers" as well.

So why the 2 drivers?   Is one the base set of code (Studio drivers) and the other tweaks for the latest games (Game Ready Drivers)?   Do I always install the latest Game ready and Studio drivers?

Please help an older gamer properly configure his first PC gaming rig...

Game ready drivers and studio drivers are nearly the same.

Studio drivers are an older version of the nvidia drivers with more testing for best reliability for content creators.

game ready drivers gets updates more frequently for best performance in games.

so if you are a gamer just install the game ready drivers.
