I have never built a gaming pc and I'm trying to switch to the master race. I plan to mostly play Rainbow Six Siege and League of Legends. I'd like to get above 100 fps. I know Ryzen is typically better than intel but my dad hates amd so I can't switch. Here is my part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sjxjb8    Don't care about rgb. Plz advice.

Are you buying from the United States?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

yes

Saved you some money with non-RGB ram, non-overclocking motherboard, and locked i7.

Cheaper SSD as well, and put the extra money into the graphics card. A 2070 super is slightly overkill for 1080p 144Hz, but doesn't hurt to have the extra oomph.

Of course, if you're just getting this from a local shop and the price is rather low for the parts you selected, it's a fine build.

Is your dad buying the PC? Because if not, why is he giving you orders on what you can and can't buy for your rig? Even if he is buying it, he should cut the fan boy ignorance do some research and realize that AMD has great chips now.

Good luck!
