Graphics Card Help

About a day or two ago both of my monitors shut off and my GPU fans cranked up to max. Despite this, I could still hear and speak to my friends in discord and my spotify was still playing. I reset my pc and continued on, however, this problem keeps happening whenever I play a game. My card now idles at about 50C and runs WOW Classic at 80C. I don't think the card overheating is the origin of the crashes as I've witnessed it crash at around 75C. I installed the latest drivers and nothing happened and I don't think it's a problem with my previous drivers as I had had them for a month. Re-seating my GPU did nothing along with rolling back my drivers. I built this machine a bit over a year ago, here are the specs

 

CPU: I5-8600K, not OCed at the moment

Mobo: ASRock Z370 Pro4

RAM: gskill trident z 2x8Gb 3600mhz\

GPU: MSI DUKE 8GB OC

PSU: Seasonic 650W gold

*this issue has come out of nowhere, arising withing the last day or two, which leads me to believe that the thermal paste isn't the issue. However I'm not sure

Definitely GPU related. Does it only happen in a certain game or all? Any updates to your game or OS around the time these crashes started? Check your cables from GPU to monitor as monitors can black out if disconnected.

@Paranoid Kami So far I've only tried WOW but I'll Modern Warfare in a sec here. The cables are all good but I think there was a WOW update yesterday. I'll report back with my findings.

@Paranoid Kamiplayed a few matches of MW at around 70C and hopped back on WOW and it leveled out around 75C, no crash this time but the temps, especially idle, are still worrying
