Hey guys and gals. 

 

I am about to order a new pc for the first time in like 11 years, and I wanted to ask for your opinion on the pc I am thinking of.

 

I am not a genius when it comes to pc's so why not ask the real geniuses :)

 

I am in the mindset of going all out and being set for the future.

The pc will mainly be used for gaming.

 

I am mainly thinking if the build will be having ideal temps, since I read that the 9900 can run a little hot, and if the MB will be good, maybe I will have to change settings in BIOS.

I am not going to do any overclocking and will just use stock speeds.

9900k makes no sense now. The Ryzen 3700x matches it in almost all situations, only ever so slightly slower in games. But it has an upgrade path, 4th gen Ryzen will likely cream the 9900k and guess what, you can just pop it into the same board without any other changes.
