???? Who is this build for? You made it sound like it's for your friend in the post then now you are making it sound like it is for yourself?

It's for my brother sorry for the confusion. I already bought the monitors for him all I need is the PC,mouse and keyboard. Sure do hope this helped the confusion.

Are there any other games you're playing? Minecraft and TF2 can run on a toaster..

If he really is only playing TF2 and Minecraft then feel free to get a 760 or maybe even 660 Ti or something, and just save the cash for yourself or whatever. However, the 770 should last him a long while if you do go with that option. He's sure to find games in the future to play that will take advantage of the hardware.

You say he wants the C70, it's not as sexy as it is online IRL make sure he knows that. Define R4 on the other hand.

He says battlefield 4 but I don't think he'll notice the difference between medium or high. So medium settings on battlefield would be fine.

I'm thinking of the 770 or 280x. Also the define r4 does look good in some pictures but I'll do more research on the both. Thanks for the advise

Are the keyboard/mouse included in the budget?

I'd suggest adding in a ssd.

No.

And how much would an SSd help. I know it should store your windows but what's the difference in start up times?

It helps start up times quite a bit although that's not what it's mostly good for. What it does is make every snappier and smoother. It'll make a bigger difference in usability than every other part upgrade combined.

Btw, there's no Blackwidow that uses mx red switches. I wouldn't recommend a Razer mech keyboard in general anyway when there are better alternatives.

How does this look? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2VOq2

Hmm, something to consider as far as graphics card setups go would be to do something very similar to Linus' budget build. Go with the FM2+ socket and run it in CFX with a 260x. This would leave the OP with approximately $200 for peripherals which should allow him to get whatever he could reasonably want.
