Increasing Input Lag

Ok, odd question, is there a way to increase the input lag on an xbox controller, specifically a guitar for rockband. Long story short, im switching from guitar hero to rockband since my wii died, and i need to slow down the xbox response time to mach that of a wii. Retraining myself would take to long for the amount of time I get to play, so I was looking for an alternative. And software or physical modifications are good.
