I have a ryzen 5 2400g and an msi x470 gaming plus. Will a MSI Video Card Radeon RX Vega 56 Air Boost 8G OC go well with it?

The 2400g is a bit faster than a 3770k/4770k so that won’t be a problem specifically.  The issue is power.  Vega56es eat a lot of it.  What kind of PSU do you got?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Yeah, the V56 can use north of 300 watts peak under load stock.

They could try undervolting if they have a weaker power supply, or maybe go with a 5600 XT.
