Games Keep Hanging/Freezing/ Crashing

I am new to gaming on PC and I am complete noob when it comes to PC, But I have attempted all possible troubleshooting tips I was able to come across. No matter the games I play after a few matches in game I either hang/freeze, certain apps become unresponsive  for a span of 10-20 seconds. I've had this PC roughly 5 months  and barely started gaming on it. All drivers are up to date as far as I'm aware of. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Please list specs and a quick run down of different troubleshooting you have done. I had something really similar tot his when I built my pc. I thought it was the ram but after buying extremely overpriced ram (it was a couple years ago) I found out it was a sata port on my mobo. aka try plugging in your sata ssd or hdd into a different sata port on the mobo.

Amd Ryzen 7 2700x

16gb ram

RTX 2070

 

Ive tried adjusting in-game settings, verifying Game files, re-installing games. Checking Power supply, reverting Drivers, Windows re-install

Have you updated your bios too?

Thats the one thing I have not done, damn. Will need to go and Find a thumb drive

Yeah you should always keep that up to date, its too important not to. Here is the latest version for your motherboard. Hopefully this solves the problem.

just finished updating Bios, hope this resolves my issues
