Effective GPU Memory Clock

How do I find this? I think I read somewhere that you multiply your clock by four, is that true? I have a 7870 running at 1200MHz on the core and at 1400MHz on the memory, and I need to know the effective clock. Thanks in advance.

You could use a GPU OC like MSI Afterburner or ASUS GPU tweak utility to show you the figure.

Ya you multiply your memory clock by 4 so it will be 5600 MHz effective memory for your case.

Well, if the card has GDDR5 memory, which most modern cards do, then the effective memory clock is four times what GPU-Z will tell you. With GDDR3 and GDDR4, you multiply it by two instead.
