So my friend gave me some parts to build a PC so I used PC part picker to see if all the parts work together and it says they do; however when I put it together the DRAM light on the motherboard turns on and the PC doesn't boot or do anything else. I'm not sure if I just got the wrong RAM/ it arrived dead so needs to be replaced or I'm just being super dumb atm so any help would be great, thanks!

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5 9400F

Mobo: ASRock B365 Phantom Gaming 4 Micro ATX LGA1151

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4- 2400

GPU: EVGA GTX 1060

PSU: Corsair CMX 550W

Do you have 2x8GB, 2x4GB? Try booting with only one ram dimm. Are they in spaced out slots, or are they next to each other?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?
