Hi all , i have a total of 32gb ram , 2 are part of a 2x8gb set and 2 are individual 8gb sticks , they all belong to corsair vengeance and  they all have the same 16-16-16-39 timings , i will use them on a gigabyte gaming 5 x370 with an amd ryzen 2700x , my dilema is : will there be any compability isues? or xmp overclocking problems? my idea is to put the 8x2 kit in main slots with the rest completing the second channels . Thank you for taking the time to read and answer my post

they should be fine. you might nt be able to hit 3200 or 3000mhz, might have to dial it down to 2933, but that's just because ryzen doesn't cope that well with 4 sticks of ram. if you frequently require more than 16gb ram, go for it, knowing you'll sacrifice a bit of speed. if you don't need more than 16gb, i'd keep the 16gb and higher frequency.
