Hey guys,

It's been a really long time since I've done any folding, and COVID has convinced me to get back into it! Right now I'm just running it on my laptop, but I'm going to try to get my desktop shipped back from college soon so I'll be able to use that as well. I remember last time I would have issues getting any kind of work units to the GPUs for whatever reason--they wouldn't update unless I uninstalled and reinstalled the client. Anyway, when I downloaded the client the GPU got a unit right away and the CPU has gotten nothing recently. I was wondering why that was the case? Are the servers with projects waiting to be completed just empty? Is there any way for me to check on that?

Thanks in advance!

^ Pretty much this. Just so many people folding right now the servers can't keep up handing out work units.

If you leave it running it should periodically check for new work units available and automatically download and start running.
The more times it fails to find a work unit the longer it takes in between checks. If it doesn't find any work units for the CPU after about an hour or so try pausing the client and start folding again. This will reset it and force it to start checking for work units again.
