Specs:

M.2 SSD Samsung

Mini itx b450 mobo

Msi rtx 1660

Sfx 600w psu

Corsair rgb ram 2x8gb 3200mhz

R7 2700x

120mm aio cooler.

My new pc I built is running pretty ok but not as well as I expected. The fps in games is not as good as I expected and I'd like to know what the bottleneck is of my system. Personally I think it might be the ram speed or the cpu speed since I have a non overclockable mobo. Also games crash frequently and I dknt know why. I have installed all drivers and updated them. As of now i am running the cpu at 4.1ghz oc and the ram with docp at 3200.

Do you have xmp enabled?

You can overclock on B450

What are temps  like? Have you tried to use DDU and reinstall your video drivers?

It's a piece of software that will wipe your system clean of gpu drivers. Try it and reinstall the drivers for your 1660
