Was wondering if hyperx fury 3200 would be compatible with my mobo? Got a gigabyte b450m ds3h and wasn't sure if it would run fine?

Due to recent shortages on ram, psus and cpus for me I have had to make changes to my parts and wanted to check if i can get this to work or nor?

System Specs: Ryzen 5 5700x (Themralright Assassin King) // Asus Tuf A520M WiFi // Vengeance 2x16GB 3600Mhz Ram // Gigabyte Eagle RX 6600 XT // Gigabyte P650B 650w // WD Blue Sn550 500GB Nvme // MX500 2TB  // CiY Tester84 (Outemu Summer) // Roccat Kona XP // Gamemax Trooper Case

If the QVL list for your mobo says yes then yes. If the QVL list doesn’t say yes then still probably.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

What difference would it make if it wasn't on the QVL list?

That's kind of the reason I wanted to find out.

Often not much.  It depends on the system though.  Older AMD designs were notoriously finicky about memory.   A ryzen2 or intel system is unlikely to have a problem though.  The QVL list is normally not considered important except in some situations.

Looking at upgrading my 2400 ram to 3200. Looking at either hyperx fury or crucial ballistix At with my R5 1600 and b450m ds3h!

Hyperx fury is the only one not on the QVL that I'm looking at. Worth a gamble?
