I've been eyeing this monitor for awhile now. It just seems like this monitor is in a class of its own. Are there any others that are comparable? Any one that owns this monitor and can give me their impressions or tips on buying it? I want to buy directly from Dell so I can be guaranteed the most recent revision.

That's what I'm finding from reviews for the most part. Edited sig and now yours looks tooooooooooooo long :P

Thanks for the link, that's one that I haven't seen yet, and man that's really in depth.

Nope nope nope wait for 4k buddy it's not worth it.

Wait for 4k.

4k is at least 2 years away from being actually usable in games, and most likely it's even longer than that from being affordable. I'm not willing to sacrifice quality for resolution (TN vs. IPS). I figure I'll get at least 3 years worth of the U3014 before I'm close to being tempted to go 4k on my next monitor.

I believe theres 4k IPS monitors in that price range don't quote me on that. You don't have to play at 4k you can play at a lower resolution and it'll looks better I believe but don't quote me :P
