"Shooting for the best Mid/High end build that money can acquire" this build is not a good value, what is the purpose of this build? primarily gaming? editing?

also we have a new builds and planning section in the forum, just so you know.

Hold your pants on folks, the build is coming. Shooting for the best Mid/High end build that money can acquire. The link to PC Parts Picker is below, tell me your thoughts.

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/groww4441/saved/3LNq

You are overspending on parts, and you didnt tell us anything what you want to do with build / budget, etc... read rules in builds planning section first.

But if you want to keep your parts, you can drop down to 650w power supply, unless if you want SLI later.

Again, we need more info.

And money can aquire much better rig for gaming than you posted.

I'm loving this help you guys are throwing at me.

In terms of budget, anything under 1800.. I don't want to go too overboard.

In terms of usage, i'm primarily going to be gaming and going around to LAN parties. That's why i'm keeping the form factor to MATX.

Maybe in the future throw a soundcard in and hook up a surround sound. Those types of thing are what i'm keeping in mind.

Space.. I am.. Space..

if you are gaming the absolute top priority is the gpu, the gpu goes above everything else, the 4770k is kinda pointless, so what i would do to get ALOT better value out of your money.

go down to a 4670k it's plenty sufficient, a fast processor for your gaming needs without spending lots of money on pointless technology like hyperthreading, go down to 8 GB of ram, you really honestly don't need more than that unless it's for a very specific purpose (not gaming), if anything you can just add more sticks in the future, get a cheaper psu a 600 watt one is plenty sufficient and the platinum certification really isn't that important, only grab 2 of the 4 fans unless you have something special in mind aside from throwing 4 fans on the radiator, now you have saved lots of money, so grab a 780ti or 780 and buy a 240 GB ssd instead of the 120 GB one, when you install os and programs on a ssd you won't really have much space left for games on a 120 GB ssd so you will probably be very happy to have a 240GB one, i would say get a high end air cooler, but if you are moving the pc alot an aio can actually be very practical to put less strain on the board.

in other words, the short version, the builds suggested above are somewhat similar to my suggestions, and this will give you a much much stronger build for your buck.
