Hello,

So fo a while now both my wifi and broadband speeds were terrible. I've recently installed a Synology RT2600ac router, giving me the ability to monitor my broadband speeds. I have a windows pc connected via Ethernet and get an average of 400KB/s (slow I know).

The issue is that whenever I play a game like Rainbow Six Siege I only seem to average 10KB/s yet still have a bad ping which often fluctuates from 30 to 300 and am unsure why. Others on the network and other programs on the pc seem completely fine.

Any help would be amazing, thank you!

it could be that its using a server far away from you. a server in america will be much different than in Europe in terms of ping. its kinda hard to fix, but you can try to play during the day, when others around you would play

Either @piratemonkey or quote me when responding to me
