PC LOW PERFORMANCE?

Current build is AMD ryzen 1600x

Asus prime x370 

GTX 1660TI

16gb 2x8 2666mhz

I have tried to trouble shoot windows by using sfc/ scannow, and also used chkdsk, 

then decided to give my pc a clean to make sure wasnt a temperature issue

Following that I found no issues that I could find however,

In games such as BF1/BFV/CSGO/PUBG for instance Ive noticed especially in CSGO a very drastic drop in performance from around 180-200fps on 1080p to almost half this with high spikes and low lows 

Please any advice would be great thanks

The counter strike engine is heavily Cpu bound. And your graphics card is entry level. 

 

How much performance do you desire and at what cost?

You dont use a Ryzen 1600 with Slower than typical Ram and expect 165-200fps all the time.

 

Expect 80-150 with some higher highs as pretty standard and higher or lower depends on the games demands... threading or otherwise..

 

Starting with Your CPU (Latency values) and Memory (Speed) Hold you back from a near constant 150-200+ in CSGO.
