Good Linux Audio Editor

Does any body know of a good Linux audio editor. Right know the price does not matter. It does need to work on an semioldish machine(3gigs ram, 120gig ssd, Pentium 4 HT). It does need to be an "professional" audio editor. Thank you.

I would suggest http://ardour.org (it's freeware as well, and very well done! Here's another page about it: http://alternativeto.net/software/ardour/

Oh and btw although I love Audacity I wouldn't call it 'Professional' It's very useful though :)

Lastly there's LMMS :)http://lmms.sourceforge.net/

Very nice but only really uses Loops.... You can edit the loops to what you want, but not the best thing in the world :)
