my router thinks it is tp link tl wr740n 150MS whereas the router with me with me is tl wrn840n 300MS i was in the router setting on my computer and selected the reboot option at this time everything was perfect until after it rebooted it now shows in the menu(very old looking menu) that it is tl wr740n 150MS i have tried upgrading the firmware but it wont accept any 

before this i had no issues and i have bought this from an authentic source. i cannot access the menu when right now it just wont let me shows a networking error but the internet works fine when i manually unplug it and plug it back it afterwords the internet doesnt work but i can access the menu from the menu when i reboot the wifi. i can access the internet but the page refreshes and i can no longer access the router setting 

PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!

With the router switched on, find the manual reset button. It's usually a recessed button that can only be pressed by a paper clip or pin. Press and hold it for a few seconds until all of the router's LEDs light up then switch off. Let go when the LEDs start to blink again. Allow the router to fully boot back up and try accessing the administration interface again.
