Hello guys

I was wondering what was the best and also cheapest (from newegg.ca) 8gb ram kit that would look good on a g1 sniper m5 motherboard as I have a windowed case.

Also, would it be better to get a single 8gb instead of 2x4gb to be able to upgrade to 16gb later and sacrifice some performance now?

Thanks!

You won't be sacrificing hardly any performance. Go with one stick now if your motherboard only supports two slots. Then upgrade to 16gb later, it's better to leave options for upgrading while costing the minimal amount possible. When building a system think to the future. Everything you put in it is going to have to be replaced some day, when that day comes what could you do today that will make those upgrades easier. ;)

WEll my motherboard supports up to 4 dimms but i'd then be limited to 16gb, well I guess that doesn't matter since 16gb since to be plenty for the next years. Am I right?

Without a doubt 16gb will be more than enough for most users, especially gamers, for a long while to come.

Id go for http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148661 and if you need more take another kid of them lateron.

if you want to some more speed out of your ram, because faster is better: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231460

Spending more isn't getting you much further, 1600/1866 is a sweetspot for Ram.
