Hello everyone,

I am trying to find a modern browser that supports at least HTML5 (for stuff like youtube) that works with Windows 2000.

I do have the unofficial service pack 5.1, but will not use Kernel EX because installing it completely breaks windows 2000 (more specifically the windows installer)

Firefox 12 is too old, so is the last version of Opera that works with 2000.

plz halp

yes, but it doesnt support HTML5, or at least enough of it to run youtube videos

Well, you'll probably run out of Memory on most newer browsers depending on what hardware you are running windows 2000 on, plus the lack of instruction sets ect.

Midori, Maxthon, maybe try K-Melon?

Windows 2000 is directly installed on the hardware, and i tried those browsers just now, but none seem to work with youtube

Can I ask the dumby question as of why you are using W2000 when you can DL XP free just about everywhere??

Sorry, I'm trying to see the purpose of W2000. It's good for only a couple of benchmarks for competition reasons, other than that......not sure it's good for anything except old school gaming maybe?
