Actually, i kinda surprised that with the video on "ShortCircuit", LTT trying to get some hype....saying that "Windows 10x is a future for the PC".

Here is the introduction: https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2019/10/02/introducing-windows-10x-enabling-dual-screen-pcs-in-2020/

While title saying "Introducing Windows 10X: enabling dual-screen PCs in 2020" it is miss-leading, as the the further reading explains that this OS targeting mobile dual-screen devices like Surface Due and some analogs from another vendors.

I.e. this is not continuation of Windows 10 and would be no upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 10x.   This is just a platform for new "mobile devices"  with 2 screens (not 3, not 5).

As result, such title and overall video direction, leads ppl in comments, ugh.....to times of windows 8

The fact that anybody thought at ALL that the idea of forcing things to run full screened was a good one has made me lose all faith in the project

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Wall Of Fame (Informative people/People I like): @Glenwing @DrMacintosh @Schnoz @TempestCatto @LogicalDrm @Dan Castellaneta

bud did you loose faith in Android and iOS, where we have the same thing?  Or how it would be cool to use "windows" with touchscreen on 12" inch combined dual-screen sitting somewhere in transport?  Another thing, this might be limitation constraint like in Android and iOS due to battery consumption and as you can't run more than N application in foreground, what the use of this "windows" ?

But anyway, the think is that 10x is not Desktop OS and ability to have "windows" on an mobile device is another topic, i guess.
