Logitech g920 shown in G hub but no output

G'day guys. just bought a logitech g920 as i've gotten into racing sims and i have a slight problem. the wheel and pedals both register in g hub but don't output anything. so what i'm saying is my computer detects that it's there, but it doesn't work in games. any help would be greatly appreciated.

(Edit) i've done the usual stuff like restart my pc, uninstall and reinstall stuff. at one point i went into hardware changes and changed one of the drivers to something else that i cant remember the name of. still nothing
