Hello,

Firstly, I would like to apologize if the forum and/or the title is misleading. This is my first one !

Recently my Asus laptop has died on me and I had to get a new laptop (Lenovo) because after a couple of diagnosis we concluded that it must be the motherboard that is dead.

I took out the ssd in my laptop where there was a bootable Linux and Windows. Since I didn't have the time or the thought to image Windows I was wondering how I could boot on this ssd as an external drive.

On my deceased laptop the boot order was 1:Debian 2:Windows, since Windows wasn't able to see that there was a bootable partition.

I chose the Windows forum cause I mainly need to boot on my Windows but any help on Linux is really appreciated since I need to work on Linux for my Bachelor's thesis.

Thank you all in advance !
