I just bought a HP 27xq Gaming Monitor that supports 144Hz connected to a Radeon 5700xt using a displayport cable. When i go into windows setting to change the refresh rate the only option I have is 60Hz. How do I get 144Hz?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have 144Hz + FreeSync enabled in the monitor settings?

Fresync is enabled however there is no option for 144hz in the monitor settings

not sure but i just switched it to a hdmi and it works now
