Help with CPU Clockspeed Windows 10

Hey there!!

I have a G31 motherboard with a core 2 duo e6320 @1.86ghz but in windows 10 it runs at a max of 0.93ghz. Help would be really appreciated..

Are you running in power saver mode? Could you try switching to performance mode and see if that changes the clock speed?

Yes,I have checked that and It is running in the high performance mode and maximum cpu state is set to 100%

Made hard reset - hold power for 5 seconds when your system is running, then wait 10 second and turn on your PC again.

Can you post a CPU-Z screenshot that shows 0.93 GHz?

 

If the BIOS or Windows 10 is not setting your CPU up correctly, you might be able to use ThrottleStop to get it to run at its full rated speed.

Looking the CPU frequency from task manager would result in either dissapointment or needless optimism,

Task manager often lies. CPU-Z, for example is more accurate.

I have checked in CPU-Z too.It shows only 0.93ghz
