My question is why Intel is only talked about having all the security flaws when amd has had flaws for the past 9 years and no one talks about it?

People talk about both. But there were several flaws found (so far) only in Inte CPUs.

However, if a flaw affects both, both should be discussed.

It all depends on what it is. Intel has been known as the best brand for a while but now AMD is taking over, AMD may be trying to hide any security flaws till they can be fixed. If the flaws were from 9 years ago then it will be moved out the media for newer flaws.

The way I see it is that Intel dominated market for a while so it would be ideal for hackers to hack Intel right?

Why would any spend the same time trying to break into CPU that no one uses?
I'm sure we will be hearing about AMD stuffs in a few years.

I doubt any side can be perfect.

But for now, as of this moment, AMD is the "safer" bet.
