Need help with upgrade choice

Hello I'm currently sitting with a difficult choice as I'm on a tight budget but I want to upgrade my pc in a way where my gaming experience will improve as I currently have:

Cpu: Athlon X4 495 

Gpu : RX 550 2GB

RAM:DDR4 8GB 2133mhz 

Motherboard : MSI A320M PRO-VD PLUS 

Storage: Hikvision E100 512gb 

 

I mostly play :

*Cs Go

*Far Cry 4 

*Apex Legends 

 

But would love to play games like 

The division 2

Ghost recon wild lands 

And Assassins creed odyssey

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated

300 usd isn't much to go on, and the games you want to play are a bit heavy on the CPU side. I'd say change your CPU and GPU. This will work on your current board:

I also suggest adding more RAM in the future as well. Add another 8GB stick.

I know it's not much I'm still a High School student and my parents want me to work for what I want so I'm working part time  but that is what I have at the moment...
