My system: Ryzen 3 2200g, 8gb ddr4 2400 (2*4), Asus Prime A320m-k, GTx 1050 Ti, 500gb HDD.

I would like to know what is bottlenecking me, if anything. Also what my upgrade path should be (please include an SSD and 144hz monitor somewhere in the upgrade path. My end goal is to play fortnite on medium settings at a consistent 144 fps.

Depends on what your budget is. I would recommend updating your motherboard along with your CPU. Then I would sell the 8GB ram and buy 16GB 3200MHz instead. Maybe add 500GB/1TB SSD if your budget allows it. Idk what games you play but 144hz on 1080p won't be possible with the GTX 1050ti.

Pretty much everything.

What's your budget?

bios update then CPU, ryzen 3600.

Will that a series motherboard handle it?  Upgrade the cpu and the memory starts to be a problem.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

A lot of people have been saying get a new motherboard, but does a motherboard make a performance difference.

It makes a performance ability difference.  The motherboard has limited VRM and limited ram speed. It’s kind of hard to upgrade anything with that motherboard.  It limits the cpu and ram you can use.

Right now it’s hard to upgrade much because the motherboard is so weak.

There's no performance difference, but a motherboard that old won't be compatible with newer parts (such as Ryzen 3rd gen and faster RAM)

What under $85 Mobo should I get and is the Mobo I have limiting the Ryzen 3 2200g right now or will it only limit when I upgrade.

It only helps for upgrading.  It’s possible you could get into a bigger processor now.  I don’t know how much VRM that motherboard has which will limit how much processor it can handle.  Needs to be found out.  There is a likelyhood you may not be able to handle a 6 core like a 2600 or 3600.  Motherboard may also limit max memory speed and the newer CPUs get their ability to go faster in large part to faster ram.

@Bazilias What's the cheapest GPU I can get that will get me a consistent 144 frames in Fortnite and what CHEAP CPU would be best paired with it.

Pricing is very area dependent.  That 1050ti has no additional power ports so it runs solely off the 56w provided by the mobo.  Bigger GPUs will need more power which makes the PSU a factor.  There are older faster used GPUs but they will want even more power.  You might have it you might not.  It’s not documented currently.

If I get a Mobo with 4 ram slots and I buy 2 more 4gb sticks will the CPU be able to support all of them

Should.  I don’t know why a motherboard would be made that couldn’t support all its ram slots.  The CPU should support it.

What is the best budget GPU (in your region) without worry about power consumption.

Mine? Best bang/buck cpu is 3600.  Depends on power level.  Best bang/buck used gpu is 480 with updates to turn it into a not-so-good 580.  Needs power ports though.  Whether a 580 will be up to the job of modern games though is something of a question.

How much is the 3600 in your region

PcPartPicker.com USA is listing at $174.99 2600 is listing at $124.99.  2600 might actually be a slightly better buy.  It uses more power, takes more cooling, and has more difficult to solve high speed ram limitations. The 3600 is effectively limited right now only by infinity fabric which means 3600mhz.
