So i plan to upgrade my PC after having it for about year. Now I have made upgrades here and there when it comes to the graphics card, 660 Ti to a GTX 770, the motherboard from an ASRock b75 Extreme Pro all the way to a ASUS Z77-V LK, among other things. But I'm switching from a 1080p panel to a 2560x1440 monitor and will be making the following upgrades:

Selling my 770 for $350

Then selling my camera and lighting set for $320

Then my current monitor for $200.

Selling my motherboard and i5-3570k for $300.

Going to a 2560x1440 monitor for $280

Then buying a GTX 780 for $450.

Lastly buying an i7-4770k, motherboard and new case, for $520.

What does this sound like to you? Any suggestions? When should I wait to sell my ASUS DIRECTCUII GTX 770 for the highest price in order to afford the GTX 780?

Thanks for all of your help.

Good luck trying to sell your 770 for $350, you can buy brand new for cheaper, lower the price of the mobo and cpu to around 275, also what is your monitor?

where I live I can get a gtx770 new for 350$/ 280€ I would say you are generally charging a bit too much for your used stuff, but I would try to sell the GPU as soon as possible, since maxwell is supposed to come out soon

It is DCU2

280 Euros is 380 USD. So, BACK OFF!  :D

Parts and prices vary from region to region so converting currencies isn't all that useful.
