Galaxy watch update problem

I'm not really sue if this goes here but i need help. Recently i bought i refurbished galaxy watch and it works great except the one that they sent me was the lte model. It seems that the only way to get software updates on the lte model is to get them through a carrier but i don't want to do that i really don't need to have my watch on a carrier plan hopefully someone knows some way to update it.

You might be thinking of something like jail breaking or rooting..However, there is no clue about such a process.. Samsung has clearly  mentioned in their site that updates are only coming through carriers for LTE service activated devices..

But I don't have LTE service activated it's an unlocked model just with LTE capability
