will cpu fan fit?

Go to solution Solved by Fasauceome,

certainly doesn't look much larger than your average tower cooler. since the max height listed for your case is larger than the height of the cooler, I doubt you will have a problem

So i just bought a Cooler CPU ID-Cooling SE-224 RGB 156mm and i just wondered if it fits in my case, my case is the Njoy Vanguard and the max for the cpu height is 160mm so it would be a real  shame if it doesnt.
For comparison the stock amd cooler

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

Good news!  The advanced mathematical knowledge I learned in grade school tells me that 156 is less than 160!  So it should be really close but you should be fine.

seriously though 160mm is a very standard case width and that the thing is 156mm implies they designed the thing specifically to fit in 160mm cases.  I strongly suspect you will be fine.  It will go all the way to the other side of the case and there won’t be any extra room but it should fit.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

It's weird cause on the NJOY official site on the case description and specs it doesnt actually say the maximum cpu cooler height. But on numerous sites where they sell this exact case it says 160mm.And if you go on their site on this specific case and you go to gallery you can download a pdf datasheet where it does actually specify like in the picture.my only thing is that i hope it doenst hit the fan above it image.png.47ae5ae903ff97c7e1bce9e0214050a6.png

That’s a harder one.  There are two things big coolers tend to impinge on:  memory and other fans.  Sometimes really tall memory heatsinks can get in the way too.

It's gonna be a shame if it hits the rams or something cause i already bought it and it's gonna be a pain refunding it

If you got low profile ram it probably won’t be.  If it does wind up hitting your ram or fans but only just barely sometimes there are things that can be done.
