I've just went out and got a vega 64 for my pc, installed the graphics card in and went to start my pc. Everything comes on but nothing gets displayed to the screen. I have noticed one of the fans on the vega 64 isnt spinning aswell. I have a speaker connected to my motherboard that beeps on booting up but doesnt when the GPU is installed. I previously had a gtx 1070 installed and that worked perfectly, only switched to take advantage of freesync.

Specs: Gigabyte ax370 gaming k3 motherboard

Ryzen 5 1600 processor

Powercool 750-850W power supply (cant remember what one)

Vega 64 ROG strix

I dont have the old card anymore, managed to get it to boot on some really old gpu I found. Uninstalling nvidia drivers and installing amds drivers. Will post a pic if it doesnt work.

Updating the BIOS can sometimes fix issues like this. I've experience a few GPUs on other machines that wouldn't boot with them until you updated bios. Also make sure you have all the power cables plugged in. I had also see it where some motherboards don't require the 4/6 pin additional power connector unless the gpu is pulling a ton of wattage. So that is also worth checking if you don't currently have that plugged in.
