My motherboard support DDR4 2133mHz RAM. So I have to change my motherboard and the cpu because the cpu is 7th gen?

The ram will simply just run at 2133mhz then.

So my system almost 4 years old. I want to upgrade some gear.
I want to change my RAM, GPU.

Expand storage.

I have an XFX Radeon R9 390x and 8GB RAM in my pc.
I’m planning to buy an ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER and CORSAIR 16GB Vengeance LPX DDR4 2133MHz CL13 KIT.

Maybe the storage going to be a 4 TB HDD and a SAMSUNG 500GB 970 EVO Plus M.2 PCIe M.2 2280 MZ-V7S500BW

It’s a good upgrade, or better to wait for a brand new system?

What are your current specs?

Ok so here is a plan to also allow you to reuse a lot in the future:

Any rtx 2070 super is good to go so go ahead with that

The 16gb of ram I would advice you to get 3000mhz+ ram. All the new cpu's love some faster ram so if you ever upgrade you wont miss out on performance by reusing the old ram and the price difference between a 2133mhz kit and 3000+ kit is usually really small. Something like this will do nicely: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/FNprxr/gskill-aegis-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3000-memory-f43000c16d16gisb

Don't get a m.2 ssd if you can get a larger or cheaper sata ssd. You won't notice the speed difference in games and general use so it's just kinda wasting money. Something like a wd blue or samsung 860 evo will do the job just fine.

All these parts are reusable in a new system(depending on how long you wait of course 5+ years later most probably aren't worth reusing).
