Problem with z506 speakers

Hey, so i have this problem with my z506 speakers.I have them set up as 5.1 both in realtek and windows and they used to work well.After a windows update a problem appeared. In 5.1 test they are working regurarly but in apps such as neftlix and spotify which both support 5.1 audio they have stopped working properly.I tried dissconecting the cables and putting them back in but nothing. Do i have to force them to play 5.1 through a setting or something?
