rx 5700xt overclocking help

two days ago i got an xfx rx 5700 xt thicc 3 to replace my aging gtx 1060

the problem is that for the last two days ive been trying to get the card stable at 2000mhz without any luck

is this normal for this gpu or wot?

gaming system: Intel core I9 12900ks / biostar Z690A valkyrie / 4x8gb corsair Vengeance @3333Mhz ram / RX 7900XTX pulse gpu / Thermalright peerless assassin 140 /Coolermaster Qube 500 case / Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 12 1500w power supply

 

laptop: Dell xps 9510, 3.5k OLED, i7 11800h, rtx 3050 ti, 2x16gb DDR4 @ 3200Mhz, 1TB main drive, 2TB add in ssd

Totally normal to not hit 2GHz, no one guaranteed that.

yeah but reviewers have been able to hit 2.1ghz on the same card

i mean before i got that i borrowed a reference model from a friend to try it and i was able to hit 2.1ghz

GPUs arent born equal, silicon quality fluctuates more than you expect then.
