Flashing laptop memory via full dimm adapter on desktop

Hi,

My laptop doesn't offer manual ram configuration nor XMP. SMBus is locked at bios level and prevent me from overriding the SPD.


Since my desktop PC does support SPD flash I wanted to know if some sodimm to full dimm adapter allowed for SPD flashing of the actual stick. I would then be able to burn the XMP profiles settings over the JEDEC ones.

I got an HP omen 15-dc1053nf laptop with HM370 chipset and an i5 9300H and a 2x8GB crucial 2666 CL16 XMP kit ref. BLS8G4S26BFSDK.8FD
