About a month ago I had to swap motherboards and one of the 2TB drives was formatted for the Octane stick. Since I swapped boards the HDD can not be seen but in some cases can be seen in a hard drive cradle. I have wiped the drive completely but still unable to see the drive. What could be the issue?

Depends on the motherboard, but it is possible that SATA ports share bandwidth with an M.2, and when M.2 is connected some SATA ports can get disabled... try connecting your HDD to another SATA port.

wiped completely

Is the HDD formatted?

I have tried that as well! I swapped the Boards out cause of a CPU pin issue. Everything is hooked up the same way when it did work. Yes the drive is formatted!
