Issues with Nvidia freestyle

Hi . So whenever I try to play red dead redemption 2 offline I keep getting an error saying a supported game or required . Yet when I re connect and launch the game from gefirce experience it works . Launching the game from geforce experience offline doesn't work either . I cannot permanently stay connected as I'm using usb tethering off my phone and I kinda need my phone for other stuff . Any ideas ?
