Computer freezes during gaming

Hey guys,   I have a computer that freezes during gameing AC4 Black Flag.

Spec

CPU: Intel core 2 Quad Q9300 @2,5GHz cooled by a CoolerMaster V8

GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5870

RAM: 8 gigs

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Anyone have an idea if the specs are to bad for games like this? Or if I could have some faulty hardware in the system?

Edit: I don't know if the drivers is updated

My setup: i5 3570K  - Corsair H100i - MSI Z77 GD65 - 256 GB Samsung 840 pro SSD - Corsair AX760i - Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 2GB - 4x4 GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer RAM - Corsair Carbide 500R (modded side window)

Maybe too high of an OC or power supply giving way?

The PSU is an 850 watt Chieftec 80 PLUS, so maybe that's the problem?

It's not the capacity of the power supply that could be a problem, but the brand. I've never heard of theme before and don't know how reliable they are.

Chieftec is a mid range PSU brand in EU, but after a bit of testing I don't think that's the problem

Is your GPU overclocked? If so then maybe it's unstable in AC4? I know I had to lower my overclock to get my card to run stable in that game. Also what settings are you playing at in-game?

Problem seems to have been that the drivers wasn't fully updated, atm everything works fine
