Hey Guys,

I have a Evga GTX1060 FTW and upgraded last month to a R5 3600 with B450 Tomahawk Max and 16GB TridentZ Neo.

I have 2 Dell 1920x1080@60Hz Monitors both connected with one DP cable so its:

GTX1060->Monitor1->Monitor2

I turned DP1.2 on at both monitors.

EVerything works fine and so on, except when i open Amazon Prime VIdeo and start watching something.

Then my monitor2 turns black for some seconds again and again.

This happends with Firefox as well as with Edge.

This problem started after upgrading my pc and reinstalling win10.

So you guys have any clue what could be wrong or did amazon just f up?

CPU: R5 3600

Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX

RAM: 2x8Gb Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16

GPU: EVGA GTX 1060

The way you're describing how your monitors are attached makes no sense. It's just one cable/GPU input per monitor, right? That's how it should be.

almost sounds like an HDCP problem, basically the code built to protect copyrighted materials, I've heard of it glitching out with certain monitor/gpu combinations before but this specific one is new for me. Do you have other cables you could test, low quality cables can be an issue especially if you're using a KVM switch or something like that

edit: I would use a direct cable to gpu for each monitor, since other layouts can lead to signal degradation and glitches in things like HDCP

Sorry maybe I have to specify my cables a bit. My Monitor have the option to forward a DP signal so I have one cable connected to my graphics card.

I use the cables shipped with the monitors. Thery dont look dirt cheap but probaly also not the highest quality.

I understand that, just saying that HDCP support isn't great in that sort of a setup, especially if the cables are combined too long or of too low a quality

@Arrogath I understand. Sadly I dont have a long enough cable at my hand and since it is realy only a minor problem i will have to live with it if my hardware limits me here
