I don't have the budget at the moment for a complete overhaul, so I'm looking at swapping out my graphics card and increasing to 16GB RAM.

My question is what card?  I've been researching and think the GTX 1660 Super may be well suited for budget/performance.  Are there any other suggestions?

I may also dabble in overclocking the CPU- haven't tried it before.

Current build;

Corsair 350D Case
5 x BitFenix Spectre Pro 120mm fans
ASUS Maximus Vii Gene motherboard
Intel i7 4790k 4GHz CPU
Corsair H100i CPU water cooler

Corsair AX860 PSU
8GB G.Skill 2133MHz RAM

ASUS Nvidia GTX 780
250GB Samsung SSD
1TB Seagate HDD

I'd be looking to game at 1080p with a 120hz monitor.

Thanks! :)

pretty sensible call

16GB of ram would be great too, though not sure how expensive 2133 DDR3 is.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Good to hear!  Thanks for your reply :)

I've found some used DDR3 16GB 2400 for a reasonable price so that's not an issue.. Mostly concerned about the card.
