Hi All

So i have an annoying problem.

I have being running Windows 10 on my server and sharing the folder so i could access it over my network or over thunderbolt. I want to move to Windows Server 2016 so i can use more features of Windows Server that i cant really do with Windows 10.

So my problem is the drives and software from Gigabyte wont install on Windows Server, I keep getting "Installation is not supported for this Windows release."

Does anyone know how i can work around that to get the drives and software to force install.

I have disabled driver signature enforcement with no luck. (not that i expected it to be that easy)

Any help would be great, thanks

drivers come as an executable that need to extract the payload to a temporary location prior to installation. when launching in windows 10, it can be manually located in a freshly cleaned up cache location such as users temp directory. Some drivers have a silent switch that can allow you to extract drivers only without trying to install and sometimes suppress operating system version.
