Small part snapped off computer

That appears to be a small jumper for motherboard pins. I can't possibly guess what pins it was on because motherboards usually have a dozen or so of those things on them. Chances are nothing was ruined, but your BIOS may behave strangely.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Thankfully nothing “needs” jumpers to function correctly as far as I have ever seen. I have only ever had to use one to reset something, so seeing as its working fine, shouldn’t be an issue.

Yeah prob jumper for bios battery... 

You sure it did not just fall out of one of the packets the came in the motherboard box.. these days the jumpers are only used if you want to reset the bios so usually not plugged in.. Saying that other things on the motherboard can use jumpers as well you just dont see it so much these days.
