Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my display (27" 1080p IPS 60Hz) to an ultrawide.  I've been looking at Viotek as they have good reviews as a economy tier monitor.  I've been looking at two in particular.  Can anyone tell me the main differences?  I know one has a tighter radius of curvature, but I don't see much else. Which would be recommended?  Are there others that would be superior?  I play mainly solo RPG type games (Witcher 3, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, etc.).

Thanks!

1) Viotek GN34CB 34-Inch 21:9 Ultrawide Curved QHD Gaming and Professional Computer Monitor, 100Hz 1440p, FreeSync FTS/RTS VESA

2) VIOTEK GNV34DB 34-Inch Ultrawide Gaming Monitor, Curved 1500R UWQHD VA Panel | 100Hz 1440p Monitor Resolution | FreeSync FPS/RTS | 3 HDMI Ports

Do they have the same panel in them?  If so the difference will be in the manufacturing of the enclosure or the support electronics

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
