Help with new pc not posting

Alright I just got my new ryzen 5 3600 pc parts today and I built it. 

Here are the specs

Ryzen 5 3600, 16 gb 3200mhz memory, bequiet dark rock 4,corsair cx 650w

And a RX 5700 XT but the graphics card ain't installed yet. 

So far the pc is not posting. The lights turn on and the fans spin. But my cpu cooler turns off after 10 seconds. 

And mobo io and front io usb s work since my keyboard and mouse flash. 

Pls help

Most boards won't post without graphics, and the 3600 doesn't have internal graphics. Throw the card in there and see if you get a boot.

Well now I plugged in the card. I also did a cmos reset by removing the circle battery for 5 min and still not posting, but everaince the cmos reset I can no longer turn off the pc via the main power button.  And the cpu cooler now works fine

Did you give it power?

Post a pic of the mobo and how things are plugged in/laid out...let's see what we are working with

Hey !

This is a little crazy...

You have not mentioned the MB you have first.

Then you are using a 3600 which has NO GPU and looking for a POST...

Then you stated that you did something with the CMOS battery.. Why? what was the need for that?

The RAM you have is it 2 sticks or 1 stick?

We dont know what MB you have, but for AMD, slots matter

CPU cooler shutting down could be due to poor cooler installation or you are not plugging in the cooler to the right Power pins on the MB...

There is no mention of what you are using for storage...

The help you get is going to be only as good as the information about the issue you provide...
