Right so I've been trying to upgrade my PSU so I can upgrade my GPU. My system runs fine with my 500w evga PSU but when I've tried 750w PSUs (Corsair RM750x, evga 750 GQ) I've run into issues with my pc:

-The Corsair turns on fine but holds the fans and lights on in my system after I turn it off.

-The evga won't get past a brief fan spin and the lights blink on.

I'm at my wit's end trying to figure out why my system won't work properly so any advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

System specs:

i7-7700k

Asus prime b250 - plus

Trident Z RGB DDR4-3200 2x8gb

WD Black PCIe gen3x4 NVMe

No GPU for testing
