Help with RAM upgrade?

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my RAM as I am purchasing a new Z390 motherboard and an i7 9700kf. 

My current RAM is the G.Skill Trident Z RGB at 2400mhz 16gb. I'm wondering what would be the best option for maximum FPS while gaming.  I play competitive games like Overwatch and I play on all low settings for max frames. What would be the best RAM to get? I was looking at Dominator Platinum RGB at 3200mhz because it overclocks well. Is 3200mhz as good as it gets for gaming, or will 4000, 4800 etc be even better?

Considering the rest of your system specs I think buying 3200Mhz Dominator Platinum RAM is a waste of money, get a 16GB kit of whatever is cheap and good for 3200MHz, you are reaching past the point of diminishing returns if you spend $40+ on RAM that is effectively going to run the same. Better off saving that money to upgrade your CPU + Mobo in the future.

Also a very good way to increase FPS, get a NVME M.2 card..  Personally, I use 2x Samsung NVME M.2 Evo Plus..  big difference from normal SSD`s... In my opinion.

Unfortunately just an opinion. The only time you'll get an FPS increase from an NVME upgrade is when the storage transfer speed becomes the bottleneck during gameplay. If a game is coded to drag textures back and forth from storage (most games load what they need into VRAM), then you may see a difference between an SSD to NVME. Otherwise your games might load faster but you will not get an FPS bump. Especially in e-sports titles like Overwatch.
